The newest edition of MLA no longer requires the inclusion of a medium in the citation. Therefore, there is no need to worry about documenting how you accessed a source (print, online, etc.). The idea is that the newly formatted MLA 8th edition citation would give enough information for the audience to understand what medium the source is.
The one exception to this rule is if you are citing an oral presentation, such as a lecture or speech. In this case, you would put the type of presentation (lecture, keynote address, etc.) last in the citation, followed by a period.
