Should I use color for graph, bar graph, or pie chart in ACS style?

Last Updated: Jan 15, 2019 Views: 141 0 0 Topics: ACS style

ACS style recommends to use color for these figures: graph, bar graph, and pie chart. However, if bar graph and pie chart can differentiate each item with distinct grayscale shades, ACS style recommends to use distinct grayscale shades.  Also, when you use line graph, ACS style prefers to use lines with a variety of dash styles in line graph, not different color.
